Canada Express Entry CRS Calculator 2026
See how Canada's November 3, 2026 Express Entry changes could affect your CRS score. Search your occupation, check your LMIF points and calculate your new score.
New CRS = current CRS − old Canadian work-length points + new LMIF. LMIF = the higher of your Canadian experience pathway or your job-offer pathway (max 150, or 140 with a spouse). Skill transferability is unchanged.
Step 1 of 4
What is your current CRS score?
Enter the CRS score shown in your Express Entry profile right now.
Your current score includes age, education, language, work experience, skill transferability and additional points. We only replace the Canadian work experience points with the new LMIF factor.
Step 2 of 4
Is a spouse or common-law partner counted in your profile?
Select Yes only if your spouse or partner comes with you to Canada and is not already a Canadian citizen or permanent resident. Match what your existing profile uses.
Step 3 of 4
How many years of Canadian work experience are counted in your profile?
Use the years recognized in your profile — generally eligible TEER 0–3 work in Canada within the last 10 years.
Was any of this experience in a high-wage occupation?
Step 4 of 4
Do you have a job offer in Canada?
Answer all four steps to see your result.
What changes on November 3, 2026?
- The Labour Market Integration Factor (LMIF) replaces the old standalone Canadian work experience points.
- You keep your existing points for the length of your Canadian work experience.
- At least one year of qualifying work in a listed high-wage occupation adds 20, 40 or 70 points.
- A qualifying high-wage job offer can instead give 50, 70 or 100 points — no LMIA needed.
- Age, education, language, spouse and skill-transferability rules don't change.
- IRCC will recalculate existing profiles (up to two weeks); invitation rounds pause during that time.
Frequently asked questions
Does my hourly salary affect my LMIF points?
No. The level comes from your occupation's national median wage on IRCC's list, not your own pay.
Can I qualify through part-time work?
Yes. Part-time work counts on a full-time-equivalent basis: 1,560 hours equals 12 months. Hours above 30 a week, across all jobs, don't count extra.
What if I worked in several occupations?
Time in a higher level also counts toward lower levels. For example, 8 months at Level 1 plus 4 months at Level 2 qualifies for the Level 2 bonus.
What if my NOC is not on the list?
You get no extra high-wage or job-offer points, but eligible experience still earns normal work-length points. It doesn't make you ineligible for Express Entry.
Does a job offer need an LMIA?
Not from November 3, 2026 — but it must be full-time, paid, continuous, non-seasonal, last a year after PR and be in a listed high-wage occupation.
Can I receive both job-offer and Canadian work-experience points?
No. You get whichever pathway is higher, never both.
Will I automatically get an invitation if my score increases?
No. Invitations depend on each draw's cut-off score and category.
How do I find my correct NOC code?
Match your main duties to the official NOC description, not just your job title.
What if IRCC changes the list?
IRCC can update the list. Always check the official page before relying on a result.
